Privacy Mode: Built for Real-World Driving

It’s a simple idea that makes a big difference during breaks, in-between jobs, or while waiting at a site.
What Is Privacy Mode?
Privacy Mode temporarily disables the internal-facing camera when the vehicle is parked. With a press and hold of the dedicated button for three seconds, the system switches off the driver-facing lens. An audible tone confirms the change.
Once the vehicle begins moving again, the camera automatically turns back on. There’s nothing extra to manage, and no risk of forgetting to reactivate it.
The forward-facing road camera continues recording throughout, ensuring ongoing safety and visibility for your fleet.

How Does Privacy Mode Work?
Privacy Mode is quick and easy to activate:
- When your vehicle is parked, press and hold the privacy button on the dashcam for three seconds.
- An audible confirmation will play, and the cabin-facing camera will turn off.
- As soon as the vehicle starts moving again, the dashcam automatically reactivates the internal camera.
This automated process removes the need to manually switch the system back on, which is particularly useful for busy drivers. Your protection resumes the moment your vehicle moves.
